How DealSold makes money
The short version: investors use DealSold free. Sourcers pay us, either as a commission on the sourcing fee they earn through the platform or as a monthly plan. Paying more never changes a deal's figures, its Deal Score or where it appears.
Who pays
| Who | Plan | What they pay |
|---|---|---|
| Investors | Free | Nothing |
| Sourcers | Free | 25% of the sourcing fee on deals completed through DealSold |
| Sourcers | Pro | £47 a month, plus 10% of the sourcing fee |
| Sourcers | VIP | £197 a month, with no commission |
Prices exclude VAT. Commission is taken from the sourcing fee when it is paid out through the platform, so it never adds to what an investor pays. Full terms are in our terms of use.
What payment does not buy
- Figures. Every deal figure is calculated by the same code from the evidence, whatever plan the sourcer is on. See how we calculate.
- The Deal Score. The score uses the deal's numbers and evidence only. A sourcer's plan is not an input.
- Placement. Which deals an investor sees, and in what order, depends on how well each deal matches that investor's brief. A sourcer's plan is not an input.
- Compliance checks. Every sourcer goes through the same registration checks before listing.
- Reviews. We publish every eligible review, whatever plan the sourcer is on. Our review policy.
Our guides and tools
Our guides and calculators are free and carry no paid placements or affiliate links. They link to DealSold where it is relevant, and each page says so. We do not take payment to mention or recommend a lender, broker or sourcer. If that ever changes, the page concerned will say so clearly. Our editorial policy.
Deals on DealSold are direct purchases of whole properties and are not FCA-regulated investments. Capital at risk.
