Who we are
DealSold is a UK marketplace where property deal sourcers list evidenced deals and investors get matched to them. Our guides and tools are written by the people who build and run it.
How we write and check
- Every factual claim links to its primary source: GOV.UK, HMRC, the regulators, legislation or the original research.
- Every page shows the date it was last checked. We change that date only when we have actually re-checked the page.
- Guides on tax, valuation or regulation will be reviewed by a suitably qualified professional, and the reviewer will be named on the page.
- Figures from our own data say how they were produced and how many deals or investors they cover.
How we use AI
We use AI tools to help with research, first drafts, data checks and proofreading. A person decides what we publish, writes the judgement calls and checks every fact against its source. We do not publish pages written and posted by AI without that review.
Corrections
If we get something wrong we fix it promptly and note significant corrections at the foot of the page with the date. Tell us about an error through the feedback option in the DealSold app.
How DealSold makes money
Investors use DealSold free. Sourcers pay a subscription, with a commission on their sourcing fee on the Free and Pro plans and none on VIP. Investors pay a refundable deposit to reserve a deal. No sourcer pays to appear in our guides, and our tools do not favour any listing.
What our content is not
Our guides are general information. They are not financial, tax or legal advice, and they do not take your circumstances into account. Property values and rents can go down as well as up.
